Dear Friends,
On August 2nd and 3rd I will be participating in a 90 mile organized fundraising Mountain Bike ride along the Colorado Trail from Molas Pass to the town of Durango. The course follows mountain trails in the 10,000 ft range along ridges, over passes, through streams, and also with 60 other riders. But Why?
The CT Jamboree (http://www.ctjamboree.com/) strives to broaden awareness of Multiple Sclerosis and generate financial support for Colorado residents affected by this complex illness. By seeking the unique physical challenge that unfolds on the Colorado Trail, riders and their supporters will raise awareness and funding to help people with MS and their families gain access to education designed to enrich and enable their lives. Also, in recognition of the amazing natural environment in which the ride takes place, a percentage of contributions are directed towards organizations that maintain the Colorado Trail for future generations. The main recipient of funding from this ride is The Huega Center (http://www.heuga.org/). They really make a difference in the way folks live with MS through their educational outreach and the attitude that one can live an "active" life with MS, not just suffer through it.

and I was on the support team. I got the bug to participate this year and feel very passionate about participating in the fundraising efforts. Thank you all for you support!
