Renewable Energy Awareness Day
Saturday, May 31st from 1 pm - 5 pm
Prescott Public Library (Goodwin Street)

An educational event for all citizens, young and old to learn about renewable energy. Local experts will present on solar energy use, thermal heat pumps, renewable energy programs available to the public, & energy efficiency in homes & commercial buildings.

Kids activities: Benjamin FrankcClown will teach kids about renewable energy, interactive experiments and kids projects will be provided.

Local experts will be sharing their expertise:
Presentations in Founders room on lower level of library (children's level)
1:00 pm: Ben Mancini & Patti Olson present on passive & active solar

2:00 pm: Glenn Meyers presents on geo thermal heat pumps

3:00 pm: Rex Stepp presents on APS's renewable energy programs

4:00 pm: Ron Taylor presents on energy efficiency

Kids educational activities:

Benjamin FrankClown will be in attendance and will be teaching kids about energy conservation practices.
There will be interactive displays, photo voltaic devices and experiments with solar design.
Come and learn from local experts who are really "doing" renewable energy.
Local green businesses will also be displaying.
