 rkshopWe are bringing back the lost tradition of home cheese making. Cheese
  is a whole food when made with fresh milk. While attending this workshop\,
  students will learn how to make cheese... what the different cultures do f
 or the milk and why they are used. What is rennet and why is it used to mak
 e cheese. Attendees will also leave knowing what ingredients can be added t
 o enhance the flavors of cheese. We will also cover the art of home butter 
 making. How to culture butter and taste the difference between sweet cream 
 butter verses sour cream butter. And what to do with butter milk and whey!

   This is a non-riding event - no background with horses necessary.  This e
 xperiential workshop is designed specifically to support your process of ch

 am.\n\n\nSharon has over 25 years experience as an active learning speciali
 st. With a master's degree and PhD in applied theatre from the University o
 f Wisconsin\, Sharon went on to become an associate professor and the direc
 tor of several community-based programs at the University of Texas in Austi
 n including Arts in Communities\, Drama for Schools\, and Imagine Safer Sch
 ools. Her work with gang-affiliated youth in south Texas convinced her to p
 ursue a second Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology with an emphasi
 s in equine-assisted mental health. After extensive experience facilitating
  equine- assisted counseling services with children and families in rural N
 ew Mexico\, Sharon is pursuing licensure as a professional counselor in Ari
 zona. In addition to serving as the clinical coordinator of Centaur Mental 
 Health Services\, she is also a guest faculty member at Prescott College.\n
